More than 10,000 Hammer Blows Go Into Each Of Our Hammered Copper Bathroom Sinks

Our line of hammered copper sinks are made completely by hand, unlike most copper sinks which are machine made. More than 10,000 hammer blows go into each our sinks crafted from 32-ounce copper. (Comparable to 19-gauge thickness of other metals.) Available with a rounded rim for drop-in applications or with a flat rim for those who prefer an undermount copper sink.

Copper Bar Sinks

These copper bar sinks are handmade using 24-ounce copper (approx. equivalent of 22-gauge used to measure thickness of other metals) with lead-free soldered corner seams. They can be drop-in mounted or undermounted. Add $50 for disposal-sized drain.

HOW TO CARE FOR OUR UNIQUE HANDMADE COPPER SINKS

Our copper sinks are made completely by hand. The naturally oxidized patina on our copper sinks can be cared for in a number of different ways. Left untreated, the patina will slowly evolve, generally evening out to a light bronze color. This change can be slowed by applying a brass or furniture wax that does not contain polish. Periodic reapplications of wax will help preserve the desired patina.

For a different but equally beautiful look, the patina can be removed with a metal polish. This will result in a shiny finish on your copper sink that will highlight the hammer marks and the shape of the sink. Waxing the copper surface will preserve the sheen, or this finish can be left untreated to develop a new unique patina.

Copper sinks should be cleaned with a soft wet cloth and, if needed, a mild soap. Because bacteria cannot survive on copper there is no need for any harsh cleansers. Each copper sink comes ready to install, with all necessary mounting hardware and a brass drain.

COPPER LIGHTING

These unique copper wall sconces come ready to install for interior or outdoor lighting. Sconces for indoor use are equipped with a two-bulb socket, with one bulb pointing up and the other pointing down. Sconces for outdoor use are equipped with an all-weather, single-bulb socket, which points down. The finish on the sconces can be cared for in the same manner as our copper sink finish, described below.
